Welcome back readers! I hope you are all keeping warm in this extra cold Winter we are having! It sure doesn't make getting out of bed any easier!

I have had a very busy but productive past week. I've been working on the website as well as attending a Small Business Course and implementing some great ideas I've learnt to my business. I have been fortunate enough to have an excellent Mentor/Presenter in Bruce Hall. As well as offering us all an 'additional' session at no extra charge, Bruce has kindly made himself available outside working hours, should we need any assistance with anything we have learnt within the course. Such exceptional service which doesn't go unrecognised! It is great to know that there are such generous people out there, offering their time and knowledge to assist you, despite them being exceptionally busy people themselves. Bruce has helped me so much throughout the Course and with my Website as well. I cannot thank him enough!

Tips for budding photographers

For all you budding photographers out there, or anyone who has an interest in Photography, I would like to share some tips with you! HANDY HINTS:

  • Know your resolution setting - a minimum of 1024 x 768 pixels is recommended
  • Fill the frame with your subject
  • Always carry a spare memory card and batteries
  • The flash can be used outside as well as inside
  • Avoid using the digital zoom on the camera. Walk towards the subject instead
  • Use your red-eye reduction setting - Take a lot of photos!

How awesome was it to see Roger Federer win yet another Wimbledon! Such a humble sportsman and a real gentleman, Federer has made history! I sure hope he's got some more tennis left in him! He is so classy to watch, with his style of play seeming so elegant and effortless. I'm a huge fan of Roger!

I hope your Footy Team is contention for the finals which are approaching so quickly! It was great to see Collingwood have a win against Gold Coast last weekend, however it is a little too late for the Pies to be in the final series this season. Next Season, Pies!

Be sure to contact me should you wish to confirm a booking for a Photographic Session. You can phone me on: 0428 442951 or email me at: [email protected] Stay tuned and bye for now! Alison
